Anunciado oficialmente como el Club número 25 de la Major League Soccer debutando en Marzo de 2020.

La antigua estructura del Estadio Lockhart fue demolida en una ceremonia organizada por representativos del club. El sitio pronto albergará el nuevo estadio del Inter Miami CF, donde el club jugará sus dos primeras temporadas de la MLS. El sitio será sede del complejo de entrenamiento y estadio permanente del equipo USL.

Inter Miami CF revelo su primera camiseta en la historia del Club. Inspirado por las alas blancas de la Garza, con detalles rosados que refleja el vibrante colorido del Sur de la Florida, la camiseta "White Heron" representa al Club y a su afición durante la temporada inaugural del club en 2020.

AUGUST 22, 2020

Inter Miami CF consiguio su primera victoria en la historia del Club con un 3-2 ante Orlando City SC en el primer partido jugado en el Estadio Inter Miami CF . Inter Miami marco el primer gol en la historia de su nuevo estadio, con gol del Julián Carranza en el minuto 12, delantero Argentino, lo que también fue su primer gol con el club.

DECEMBER 18, 2020

Inter Miami CF signed 15-year-old Felipe Valencia as a Homegrown Player, marking the first Academy product in club history to sign with the First Team. Valencia was the youngest Academy player to play for Fort Lauderdale CF – now Inter Miami CF II – in 2020 and the
youngest to score a goal at any USL level. At the time, he was also the 15th youngest player to sign a contract in MLS history.

AutoNation será el socio automotriz oficial y exclusivo de Inter Miami, lo que incluye los derechos de nombre del estadio y el patrocinio de las camisetas de entrenamiento del Primer Equipo. On a Friday night vs. local rival Orlando City SC, DRV PNK Stadium was allowed to function at full capacity due to COVID-19 restrictions being lifted, and it was host to the first sell-out in club history.

Inter Miami CF announced Jorge and Jose Mas and David Beckham finalized the buyout of Marcelo Claure and Masayoshi Son. In addition, Ares Management (“Ares”) joined the Club as a preferred equity investor through funds managed by its Credit Group.

MARCH 22, 2022

Fort Lauderdale CF rebranded to Inter Miami CF II, and joined the MLS’ new development league, MLS NEXT PRO, where they continue to be the bridge between the Club’s Academy and the MLS First Team.

Inter Miami CF returned to the Cayman Islands to build on its 2021 campaign to capture the launch of its second Primeblue jersey “Everyone at the club was excited to work with Jason, Coral, adidas and MLS again on such an important initiative as reducing plastic pollution in the Ocean. For the first time in Club history, we opened our doors for an International friendly during the season, by playing against Spanish Giants FC Barcelona at DRV PNK Stadium. FC Barcelona trained at facilities for 3 days and played against our first team in the largest crowd in DRV PNK Stadium history.

SEPTEMBER 12, 2022

Inter Miami CF announced a major, multi-year partnership with Florida Blue. The state’s Blue Cross Blue Shield plan joins Inter Miami as the Club’s Official Community Partner and secures the naming rights for the state-of-the-art, $60-million training facility in Fort Lauderdale, now the Florida Blue Training Center. Continuing a trend of aligning with local, like-minded brands, this relationship is rooted in a desire to strengthen the local community and further Inter Miami’s mission to harness the power of fútbol to do good.

For the third edition of the campaign, Coral Cay and Cayman Jason went to the Bahamas to release this year’s One Planet Jersey underwater next to a Great Hammerhead Shark to promote responsible plastic use and the positive impact it can have on our ocean habitat. "The One Planet initiative is special to our Club. This year we wanted to complete the trilogy with Jason and Coral alongside the ocean’s apex predator as a symbol of a healthy ecosystem, which is the ultimate goal of One Planet. Inter Miami CF announced that its named the MLS Cup winner, two-time manager at a FIFA World Cup, three-time Conmebol Copa América finalist, Concacaf Gold Cup winner and former FC Barcelona and Argentina National Team manager Gerardo ‘Tata’ Martino as head coach. “I’m very excited to join a big club like Inter Miami and I know together we can accomplish many great things,” said incoming Inter Miami CF head coach Martino. “The Club has the necessary infrastructure to be a major competitor in the region and I believe that with everyone’s hard work and commitment we can get there.”

Inter Miami CF announced today that it has signed World Cup champion and nine-time LaLiga winner Sergio Busquets.

“This is a special and exciting opportunity that I’m very excited to take. I’m looking forward to this next step in my career with Inter Miami,” said Busquets. “I was impressed by the Club when I came with Barcelona last year and now I’m happy and ready to represent the Club myself. I can’t wait to help bring the success that this ambitious Club strives for.”

Inter Miami CF achieved another major milestone for the Club on Saturday night, making history by defeating Nashville SC at GEODIS Park in a dramatic penalty shootout to win the 2023 Leagues Cup title and clinch the First Team’s first official piece of silverware. The match ended 1-1 in regulation and featured a stellar performance in between the sticks from Man of the Match Drake Callender and a stunner from Lionel Messi to open the scoring in the first half.

Individually, two Inter Miami players also enjoyed the historic night in Tennessee, with Messi becoming the player with most trophies in the history of the sport with 44 and collecting Leagues Cup Best Player and Top Scorer awards. Goalkeeper Callender, meanwhile, earned Man of the Match honors for his stellar performance in the final as well as the Leagues Cup Best Goalkeeper award.
